Three Departments of the University of Padua are currently joining CIRFIM: the Department of Philosophy, Sociology, Education, and Applied Psychology – FISPPA, the  Department of Historical and Geografic Sciences and the Ancient World – DISSGEA, and the Department of Cultural Heritage – DBC. CIRFIM is open to membership by other departments.
