To carry out its activities, CIRFIM relies on the support of the joining Departments, on the work of its members, and on the additional human and material resources made available by the joining Departments, within the limits established by the Departments themselves. Besides, CIRFIM may recruit temporary cooperators.

CIRFIM also avails itself of the cooperation of PhD students and postdocs working in the joining Departments, as well as of specialised external staff and scholars from other Universities and Research Centres.
